Established in 1974, Arizona based Professional Business Computer Systems is a provider of Oracle^tm based financial system solutions to the distribution and insurance industries and the accounting and legal professions nationwide.

PBCS consults with our clients to determine the specialized requirements of their application, and building on our core of highly flexible and functional Oracle based accounting modules, integrates the requirements into the optimal solution.

In 1981, PBCS became heavily involved with the industry standard Unix operating system and highly portable Oracle RDBMS.

Since that time, significant resources have been devoted to: consulting, custom software development, and the redesign and porting of the PBCS Business Software packages to optimize the advantages of the Oracle RDBMS for today's changing business environment. The result is the Oracle based PBCS Foundation Series^TM accounting system.

Among our prospective clients are the end user or reseller who is planning on developing a specialized application using Oracle development tools. It makes little or no sense for these firms to expend the time and resources to develop, in house, the basic applications such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll.

We can provide these applications at a fraction of in house development cost. Our experienced staff is available to provide modification to the applications, if needed, and aid your entity in interfacing your applications to the PBCS Foundation Series^TM accounting systems.

Our client base is diverse. We are fortunate to have among our many Oracle based clients, highly respected CPA's using our General Ledger for Client Write-Up, apparel manufacturers using our financials and payroll for their many divisions and manufacturing locations, an automobile extended warranty insurer of over 500,000 policyholders interfacing our financials with their special application. The PBCS Foundation Series^TM financials are full featured, flexible and mature. The Oracle version was first released in 1985.
